Most Popular Benefits:
Family Friendliness. Employees choose to participate in both our health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts (FSA’s), and take full advantage of pre-tax dollar savings.
Health care flexible spending accounts – lowers your taxable income by reimbursing eligible and out-of-pocket
medical, dental, and vision expenses on a pretax basis up to $5,000 per year.
Dependent care flexible spending accounts – lowers your taxable income by reimbursing eligible day care and elder
care expenses on a pretax basis up to $5,000 per year, per household.
Our medical/prescription plan is with Blue Cross Blue Shield (Alliance Select) and is highly regarded by employees, regardless of state residence. A component of our Wellness Program is an annual health assessment. Meet all five criteria of the health assessment and you just might find your medical insurance is FREE.
Those desiring more comprehensive coverage have the ability to purchase additional coverage through our local AFLAC plan, which can be set-up on a pre-tax base.
Another popular benefit is company-paid life insurance for employees, spouses and their eligible children. The supplemental and voluntary life insurance is equally popular given the excellent rates. Additionally, short-term and long-term disability insurance is 100% employer paid.
Career Development Assistance. Support for professional development is unquestionable – through financial assistance for memberships in professional organizations to professional license fees to cross-training to develop skills not directly related to your current job – Al-jon is committed to your success.
Education assistance. Growing in popularity is our tuition reimbursement plan, which is also open to spouses. Many have chosen to take individual classes to improve on the job skill sets while others go back to school to complete an AA, Undergraduate or Graduate degree.
